We are locally owned and operated, and we know Tampa Bay because we live here. Our pontoon is modern, meticulously maintained and equipped for a full day in the sun, which is what our renters mention when they return to the dock.
The way we run a rental day comes from Beach Charters By The Bay, our sister charter operation. We take care of booking, check-in, the safety briefing and the dockside orientation, so you know exactly how the day will go before you leave the slip.

Where a Half Day on the Water Can Take You
Every trip leaves the City of Gulfport Municipal Marina and idles straight into Boca Ciega Bay. Turn south for the preserves and sandbars, or north up the Intracoastal Waterway toward the barrier islands. Most groups fit two or three stops into an afternoon.
Shell Key
A protected barrier island preserve with a quiet beach on the bay side and open Gulf on the other.
Bunces Pass
The sandbars between Shell Key and Fort De Soto surface at low tide, shallow enough to anchor off and stand in.

Before You Book
What Florida Asks For Before You Take the Helm
It is worth knowing this one before you book. Florida does not issue a traditional boating license, so there is no card to carry and no driving test to pass.
What the state does ask for is documented boating safety education, and only from anyone born on or after January 1, 1988. It applies to our boat because the motor is over 10 horsepower. Most renters handle it with the temporary 90 day certificate, an online course that takes 30 to 60 minutes and prints the moment you finish.
Two more things to have ready. The operator needs to be at least 21, which is our own policy, and a valid photo ID comes to check-in alongside the certificate.

Born on or after Jan 1 of that year? Safety education required.

Eleven passengers, or 1,610 pounds, whichever comes first. That number comes from the manufacturer's plaque and it counts the operator and every child aboard.

No food or drinks are provided. A cooler and ice are available, so bring what your group wants and load it at the dock.
No glass bottles and no smoking aboard the vessel.
Yes, with prior approval. Up to two dogs per rental, with a $50 non-refundable cleaning fee per rental, not per dog. Tell us at booking so we can approve it before your date.

Our Slip at the Gulfport Municipal Marina
Every trip leaves from the City of Gulfport Municipal Marina. Once you arrive, head inside the main marina office near the fuel dock, and you will be directed where to go from there. Your orientation and safety briefing will take place before departure, and then you will be ready to head out into Boca Ciega Bay.
